Today’s AutoHunter Spotlight is on a 1966 Shelby Cobra 2-seater Shell Valley replica built by a father-son team over a span of 11 years.

The Kevlar-reinforced body is finished in Hugger Orange with dual black racing stripes. The car also has tubular chrome bumpers, dual roll bars, vented front fenders and chromed side pipes.
Power comes from a custom-balanced and blueprinted 302cid V8 that’s been bored 0.30” over, decked and given numerous upgrades, including Scorpion roller rockers, a Ford Racing E303 camshaft, Cobra injection system and GT40 heads.
The engine is paired with a Tremec 5-speed manual with a new MacLeod clutch, resurfaced flywheel, and a Detroit locker rear end.
The interior features black vinyl racing seats each with a G-Force racing harness along with Hugger Orange color-matched dashboard and door panels.
