With makers like Ferrari or Lamborghini offering SUVs, it will be just a matter of time until other makers will step out of their comfort zone. Mercedes already tried, and failed, to offer a pickup truck, and BMW presented a truck concept car back in 2019. So, what if Audi will make the same move and will also build a pickup truck? Volkswagen, Audi’s parent company, is already offering the Amarok – a model that shares the underpinnings with the Ford Ranger, so, it wouldn’t be such a big surprise if Audi will try to succeed where Mercedes failed.
