Following the footsteps of the M3 CSL from almost two decades back and the M4 GTS that came out six years back, BMW has launched its latest special edition model, the M4 CSL. For the longest time, it was a well-kept secret, but in recent times, we had spied it a few times and had an idea of how it looked on the outside and the inside. Fast forward to the present day, the M4 “Competition, Sport, Lightweight” is finally here.
The M4 CSL comes with a lot of tweaks when compared to the M4 Competition. It makes 40 extra horses, features an aggressive suspension tune, carbon-ceramic brakes, ultra-high performance tires, and is 240 pounds lighter. The M4 CSL is limited to just 1,000 examples worldwide and costs $139,900; nearly twice as much as the M4 Competition. Is it worth the extra price?
