The long-awaited right-hook Corvette has been spied in the US, with a local launch due later this year.
The first RHD cars are destined for Japan, but an Australian launch is still expected late in the second half of 2021, with first deliveries expected to occur around that time.
Featuring a mid-mounted 6.2-litre V8 which offers 370kW and 637Nm, the C8 Corvette has a claimed 0-100km/h time of under three seconds.
The Corvette will be imported and sold by GMSV, and although pricing is still to be confirmed, a figure around the $130,000 to $150,000 mark (before on-road costs) is expected.
