It’s looking like a quiet 2022 for Italian brand Alfa Romeo with just two updates slated for the new year.
It’ll be a quiet year for Alfa Romeo with just two updates scheduled for 2022. That’s hardly surprising for a brand whose range comprises just four models, two of which – the 4C and Giulietta – have already been deleted from Alfa’s local line-up.
Alfa Romeo Australia has confirmed to Drive the Giulia and Stelvio will receive updates in the second half of 2022 – and while details of the changes are yet to be revealed, it’s believed both cars will at last undergo their long-promised mid-life facelifts.
First announced in late 2019, a “mid-cycle freshening” for each car was initially slated for launch in 2021, however various factors are believed to have pushed them well into 2022 – similar to Alfa Romeo’s smaller Tonale SUV, originally due in 2021, but now set for an early 2022 unveiling, and a possible late 2022 or early 2023 Australian launch.
