The large luxury sedan will get a sportier look and interior, along with smartphone mirroring tech in October.

Lexus has confirmed the ES300h F Sport is bound for Australia in October, bringing bigger wheels and a racier look to the brand’s hybrid sedan.

Along with the sportier F Sport option, the wider ES300h range will gain Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard in October.

Externally, you’ll be able to tell the F Sport from regular ‘Luxury’ models by its 19-inch alloy wheels, triple-beam LED headlights with sequential indicators, and F Sport badging.

The car rides on an adaptive F Sport suspension, too, an option not offered on the regular ES300h Luxury.

Inside, the car gains a unique 8.0-inch driver display and sports front seats, a perforated leather steering wheel, and aluminium trim inspired by a Japanese sword-polishing method. Buyers can choose between red and black leather for the cabin, while black headliner is standard.

Along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the ES range will continue to be offered with wireless phone charging, satellite navigation, voice control, DAB+ radio, and a 10-speaker audio system.

Standard equipment will also include a head-up display, dual-zone climate control, a moonroof, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, along with powered and heated front seats.

Atop that list, the ES300h F Sport will get front seat ventilation, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, an electric rear sunshade, and a panoramic surround-view monitor.
