The fault could cause a child seat to be incorrectly anchored, according to the recall notice.
The affected vehicles are stamped Model Years 2020 and 2021.
The recall notice, lodged with the Department of Infrastructure, says: “The wiring harness for the rear seat-belt buckle may impair the access to the ISOFIX child seat anchoring system and prevent the child seat from being secured correctly.
“Access to the rear right child-seat anchorage system (ISOFIX) may be impaired and there is no guarantee that the child seat will be secured correctly … This increases the risk of serious injury or death to occupants.”
