A total of 341 wagons have been called back to the dealer over a potentially loose rear spoiler

Mercedes-Benz Australia has recalled the 2017-19 E-Class Estate, over concerns the rear spoiler mightn’t have been correctly attached.

According to the company the screws for the tailgate spoiler might not have been tightened to specification. At high speeds, that means the spoiler could detach from the car, putting other road users at risk of injury.

A total of 341 cars are included in the campaign – a VIN list is attached here.

Mercedes-Benz will contact owners of the affected vehicles and advise them to organise a free fix with their nearest dealer.
