A manufacturing fault with bonnet insulation could cause an engine bay fire, according to the manufacturer.
The affected vehicles are stamped Model Years 2013-2017.
The recall notice, lodged with the Department of Infrastructure, says: “The hood insulator may become damaged and come in contact with hot engine components resulting in an engine bay fire.
“A vehicle fire could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users or bystanders.”
