Not for the timid, this one of a kind 1972 Ford Country Squire station wagon custom dually is a crowd stopper. A professionally built frame-off restoration, the body was dropped on a 1966 Ford F250 dually camper chassis and equipped with a Dana 60 rear end. It was a 1st place winner at the 2016 Concours d’Lemons.
The wagon is finished in black with airbrushed faux wood grain paneling on the sides. Take a peek at the roof and you’ll find a large painted American flag. Inside, the interior is fitted with blue carpeting and vinyl cloth bucket seats. We can’t promise that the hula girl on the dash is included, but you might be able to negotiate that into the deal.
The seller installed a tow receiver hitch on the rear, dual outlets for the custom exhaust system, and mud flaps at all four corners. The tailgate is equipped with a roll-down window and has both drop-down and side-hinged opening capability.
Rock out to The Rolling Stones with the upgraded Kenwood AM/FM/CD audio head unit, new speakers in the front and rear and two 12-inch subwoofers.
Power is provided by a 390cid V8 equipped with an Edlebrock carburetor and is sent to a Dana 60 rear axle through an automatic transmission with a column-mounted shift lever. The seller added a finned B&M transmission for improved cooling.
