Today’s AutoHunter Spotlight is on a 1962 Ford Thunderbird convertible with only 32,000 miles driven.

Nicknamed the “Bullet Bird” because of the convertible’s projectile-like styling, these 4-seaters include unique details like the side-trim door handles, recessed headlamps, round taillights and blade-like tail fins.

Click the red buttons on the photo below for an in-depth look at the T-bird.

The body is finished in Acapulco Blue Metallic and features a powered white convertible top, chrome bumpers and rear fender skirts.

Matching the exterior, the all-blue interior has vinyl front bucket seats and a rear bench, locking center console, swing-away steering wheel, and chrome trim.

Power comes from the original 390cid V8 engine that was rebuilt in 2019. It’s mated to a 3-speed “Cruise-O-Matic” automatic transmission.
