Let Me ask you this: When doing mechanica jobs do you give customers a price cost before you start doing the job or how does it work? Because you said you couldn't charge customer 3 hours instead of 2! Which I understand it's all ethical!

I like the way you broke down.
I’ll give you the best advice anyone has ever given you. Divide the two. Have one business just selling cars and the other business just doing repairs at two different locations. That way you will find it easier to run the two independently and really figure out what you are making from each business. Also, for me, it is a turn off seeing a repair shop where the cars are for sale. Even seeing cars for repair where cars for sale are parked is a terrible idea. It’s like walking into a watch shop to buy a used watch and seeing tons of watches being fixed. Hope this helps.
The problem is the techs are slow, ur getting cheap parts and u need to tell customers in advanced the issues u may have nd u recommend a better part so u can park it nd work somewhere else lol

Honestly on that door handle sucks the 10mm screws break out of handle, but popping door panel off and changing handle out 30 mins tops if you’ve done a few
