My son inherited a beater car (brick colored 1979 Volvo 245 wagon) from my late dad. He drove the hell out of it, but couldn't destroy it. Cost my dad $800.00. The car was finally bought by the State of California to be crushed for the same amount dad paid. Not too shabby. Great video Scotty. Long live these rocks-on-wheels, otherwise known as a P.O.S.
My beater was a 1976 Vega with an Olds V6. Purchased used and lasted me well over six years. Since then I've owned newer vehicles, but sure do miss that old car!
