I got a 93 300e with 330k still runs smooth. All I do is keep up with regular maintenance. Only things I've had to replace were a couple hoses.
I could not disagree more. A c300 with 120000 miles, zero issues, a e550 with 70000 miles, no issues, a glk 350 with 80000 miles no issues, a glk350 with 60000 miles, a e550 with 10000 miles ( new one ) no issues. I have not had a single issue with any mercedes I have ever owned. Seriously only brakes tires and oil changes.

If you want a luxury used car with over 100K buy a Lexus – they're are engineered to last. However, if you've just had a frontal lobotomy then go with a Mercedes or BMW because you'll never realise the utter pile of crap you own…
I am a used car dealership owner and trust me all the Mercedes and BMW i got were junkyard materials. Even with 10k mile ones .
Recently my BMW got towed from being too long on the street i never bothered to go n get the junk out just left my headache to tow guys.
