Reasons why I only work on vehichles I own. I buy and repair trucks to best of my ability then resell them AS IS. So it cant fall back on me because its clearly stated during the sale and on the title that its sold AS IS.

An (open work order) is a work order you can't collect money on but costs you money…slow pays and no pays..
    Waiting on parts…lots of stress

    Pareto principle 80/20 rule

  4. stockton350

The 80/20 rule suggests that 80% of your revenue comes from 20% of your work – such as selling cars. The issue here is opportunity cost when you are committing time and resource to repairs rather than selling cars. I think the point the point of the 80/20 rule is to identify the magic 20% and expand on that in order to grow the top line.

Customer with suburban is your issue. You should know better by looking at the VIN. You are too dumb to do bussiness.

  6. Rahim Kalsi

Now with all that extra revenue you should invest in a couple more 4 post lifts so nothing can slow you down

You are a wise and considerate young man. I have a bhph car lot and we do have a service dept. Have a good customer on the books and she needs some work, we are doing this while I have a 2012 Hyundai that needs a engine; I can make $3000. plus interest. Why am I doing this. You are RIGHT!!

  8. HOWARD KEMP

No excuse for ordering parts for the wrong vehicle when using the VIN.

I'm the other way. I have a repair shop and am stressed about buying and selling cars and at peace fixing the broken ones, probably from watching the used car guy next door who is a compulsive shit-car-buyer who seems to get killed way too often from the hidden auction bombs but you're definitely convincing me to take another look at buying and selling cars again, btw that Saturn probably a had drum spiral cut surface finish issue(if that were a true eversincha). You illustrated some issues that hit truth pretty hard esp that 10:00am walk in to be greeted by some angry loser scenario BTDT. Just discovered your videos and am definitely getting pulled in.
