Yeah, the German automakers are the only ones that follow the five year law where auto manufacturers are only required to make and stock parts for vehicles five years post production. Almost everyone does produce replacements even after five years. Germans don't. Upper radiator hose on my 1995 Volkswagen Passat in 2002: 167 dollars (and the thing looked like Medusa, no slapping on some stock and calling it good. It had all kinds of little tributary lines spliced into it for whatever weird reason. Upper radiator hose on my 1989 Jeep Wrangler in the same year: 7 bucks and the kid gave me the excess on the end of the roll for free so I had twice what I needed.

Scotty great video. I have a 2006 jetta tdi 300+ miles with a p0299 turbocharger code. I got the car for free. That seems to be all that's wrong with it. Is it worth fixing or replacing the turbocharger?

My ex had a galant…biggest piece of junk. There’s a reason it was free…

I'm looking into a Lexus RC F 2015 with 55k miles on it. Anything I need to be concerned about on this car? I have never heard of the 5.0L v8 it uses and i don't know anything about the transmission.
