Yeah I had a Nissan Xterror!
Tranny started to slip on me to at only 100,000 miles.
That's when I discovered the Toyota 4Runner.
I brought mine with 196,000 miles on the odometer not a damn thing wrong .
I will never go back to Nisswrong!
I just listened to your report about the Xterra and wonder if the 2008, Kia I've been driving for 3 days, every so often when it changes gears after stopping and when starting forward it clunks and snaps my head as in whiplash snap. Is this transmission GOING??????? Thank you for your input. Sue

I’ve actually witnessed the poor craftsmanship of nissans first hand. My aunt has a 2012 Nissan Altima 2.5s. It has 170k miles and it runs and drives like brand new and has had no major repairs done to it.
