I have an '03 Chrysler Town and Country that was running so rich once that it wouldn't idle. It would run if I had the throttle about 1/3 of the way open. Turned out the fuel injector harness had a meltdown. The computer controlled the ground side of the injectors, and when any injector would pulse, they would all pulse. As soon as I rebuilt that part of the engine harness, it started running fine. I repositioned the harness and never had a problem with it since. The guy with the rich condition may have a similar problem. Something to consider.
