    Watching this 6 speed manual prepared to be installed by others, they use a magnetic base, adjustable arm, dial indicator and with the pressure plate, friction & bell housing installed while in car, simple mark 4 positions on the bell housing as they rotate the engine with a long ratchet. Note the runout on the housing, divided the readings by 2, and if that half reading is within specs that Tremic indicates, you a good. If not, order the "Off-set" housing pins and repeat, only rotating the pins to get center. As long as the clutch disc (Friction) is centered, only the trans needs slide back to complete the setup. This gets filled out, model, serial and bell-housing runout pattern is sent back for warranty. The magnetic base, arm and dial indicator is available at Harbor Freight. DK, Omaha

    I would have put a borg warner T-10 in it! This is the biggest nightmare you will ever face. When you get this done everything else will be gravy!

    Option 3 should be only option at this point Pete , your in knee surgery recovery you can not pull that engine and trans again and your wrist is bothering you dont do it . Your work is impeccable dont risk hurting what your trying to fix on your own body its not worth it . By the way we are the same age been doing this work every day since i was 15 and i to ride my bike every day a lot in common we have peace brother !
