My VW Diesel had his first turbo replaced with 50.000 miles and the second turbo with 110.000 miles. Piece of crap.
Here in the UK the government is screwing diesels right down after telling us they were the best thing since sliced bread a few years ago. As far as emission inspections are concerned, well that's mandatory everywhere here. So much so that thieves have been known to crawl under your car to cut them out and make off with them!
