All the sudden most trucks have a sport trim and it aint even sporty, like leave it to the 4 door sport cars and two door cars, yesterday i seen a ram 2500 sport like wtfff big slow truck, their meant for hauling and towing
Personally, if the more expensive one gets better gas mileage, I would go for it because over time I'll have used less gas which means spending less money in the long run
Can't get a manual transmission in the cheapo's anymore. TRD Sport is is the cheapest with a manual you can buy. Thats the only reason I went from the SR5 to a TRD sport.
Trd, pro or nothing up here in the Rockie mountain winters. Base tacoma will leave you stuck. My 22 trd gets 26mpg combined! I have a kd maxx tq tune.
Larger displacement engines can better handle higher gear ratios for high speed cruising. Makes sense that the v6 does better that the straight 4

Our 2020 work Tacoma's are falling apart. The grills are falling off. Front bumper plastic clips are broken and are hanging off. 2 have A.C issues. These trucks are cheap.
