    I normally just move the ground clamp directly to the work piece. But hey more power to you. But your gonna have to make a long extension ground clamp if you weld outside at your neighbors house. Ground from welder to fab table to the ground to the neighbors house.

    I use just normal jumper cables that you use for jumping a car.

    Having a jumper cable is pretty handy, though depending on what your doing sometimes it’s quicker to bridge it with some scrap if your just making a few tacks.
