Unfortunately, they’re made pretty bad now a days. I checked out repairpal, as well as reliability index which is used in the UK. I was shocked to see that one of the MERC models costed to maintain in “EUROPE”, was £335 annually. However I checked out repairpal and was, shocked at how much the repairs were going to cost it ended up being a couple times as expensive & the reliability was rated pretty low, now on reliability index it showed the car being more reliable.
Recently my uncle bought a Lexus ES350.
Scotty why is that the car made in Germany more reliable over there I heard that we also make the blue motion tdi the one that can get you 70 mpg it’s diesel?

in my country (inside EU) , Mercedes are cheap if compared to some other brands.
Mercedes is the best. But not the American models….
German tanks broke down…..part of the reason they lost WW2
I emptied the ashtray on my Mercedes and now I have to take it to the dealership to clear the ashtray code.
The problem is people buying old expensive cars, and then forget that the car needs maintenance of a expensive car.
Why are all the extra electronics necessary in these cars? They ride, handle, and accelerate like most other cars anyway.
Scotty, I wish you'd start reviewing the Mercedes cars they're making right now… those 2000 era cars you love to talk about are from the early days of technology, they're so much worse than the brand-new ones.
But I would ask you to work on my Mercedes.
