Scotty, the early 2000's were a good time for the Chevrolet Impala in terms of simplicity and gas mileage. 34 MPG at long distance highway speeds wasn't unusual for my '04 Impala 3.4l base model.

I tow with my pickup. I drain the pan every year and replace with new. With my cars, I drain the pan and refill with new every year. I've never had a transmission problem.

I change transmission fluids 50-80k on pickups. No flush. Fluid still looks, smells good. Used hard. Often pulling for long distances. I am considering TPMS that replace valve caps. They claim 12 month battery on senders, $10 for name brand replacement batteries 5.
So @$80 for 6 valve cap (I want to put one on spare tire as better sounding unit, range… then 4 valve cap unit) plus a spare, or two if they get damaged. (I don’t only drive roads). Do they leak? Unbalance tire?

The joke about the dude from “memory School” forgetting his graduation certificate was damn hilarious 🤣

Hello all! I have a 2009 rav4 limited v6 with 117k. How long you think it will last? I change oil every 5k miles full synthetic.

2010 Honda Civic Hybrid keeps needing a jumpstart. Already took it to local auto-parts store to have battery/alternator checked out and were fine. Please help. Some advice…please.
