I miss the small Tacomas.
I bought a 23 TRD off road Taco this summer specifically because they are tried and true with a V6. Also because I hope to get at least 300,000 out of it and I don’t think the news ones will last as long.

A re-made turd.
1. Turbo = intercooler = possible catastrophic oil and antifreeze mixing in the event of failure. 2. Automatic Transmission = poor for offroad rock crawling and transmission fluid cooler in radiator = possible catastrophic oil and antifreeze mixing. 3. Hybrid = possible catastrophic battery fire and possible state / federal tax credits. 4. Toyota is not shipping any 2023 manual transmission Tacomas although theoretically available. 5. Jeep is not shipping any manual transmission Gladiators because of clutch pressure plate problems.
I live in Canada and have had the tacoma 2007 and a 2007 and 2015 tundra. But i plan on moving to the dominican republic soon. When I do I am excited to finally own a hilux. They are everywhere down there plus lots of land cruisers. Great vehicles all over the world.
