I don't mind the rental car thing as a used car customer because I hate breaking in new engines because you have to drive more carefully because you want those scratches that go on the cylinder wall to be the best scratches you can get because you are going to be with them for a long time. If I let someone else do all that for me then I can drive normally from the get-go because it has already been broken in!
I know it hurts Scotty to admit that a Toyota/Lexus has also been making some junk since he swears that they’re quality control is top notch. lol
I worked for a certain car rental company… I'm pretty sure you know which one. If you want to call out incompetence… You are 100% right. The things I saw working there would make any mechanic completely horrified.
The part where the viewer was wondering about their dash they should try a company called Dashskin. Years ago I got a dash cover for my 2007 Avalanche and I love it. It's good quality plastic and fits perfectly over the original dash. You can't even tell its a cover unless you try.
But Scott always insists people buy Toyota?
