I changed the under dash heater core in my 1999/2000 Silverado and it was so much work, {I took 3 days because I'm retired}, that I decided to change the under dash A/C core plus everything else I could find to change because I never never want to pull a Silverado dash out again. On an earlier Silverado that I owned, I changed a 6.0L V8 for a reman and it was less work than pulling the dashboard!
