Toyota is doing the exact same thing here in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. They say that the cost of labor is too high to build cars, so they will be building only SUVs in North America, and then building their cars down in Mexico and importing them from Mexico. Well, when you see that 9 out of 10 newly purchased vehicles are SUVs, that sort of make sense.
Scotty is more concerned that Toyota is going to stop making cars instead of Toyota going to use Mazda parts.
