"their idea of maintenance is putting gas in the engine" – hahahaha

Maintained properly, Toyotas pretty much go forever. In Australia, there is a plumber who owns a Toyota Hilux with 2.3 million kilometres, in New Zealand there is a man with a 1993 Toyota Corolla with 2 million kilometres, with its original engine and gearbox.

now their gonna go after hood struts next you watch.

    Bang on.
    Japanese manufacturers dislike 'losing face'
I just bought a Corolla Cross, and if it burns any oil it is gone … ( mind you these new synthetic oils do have an evaporation rate built into them) but I always check my oils & tire pressures. I worked on aircraft for 34 years so used to doing it.
I drove another brand for over 34 years because of their cheapness in fixing my vehicles at that time.
This is the 7th Toyota in my life so they had better not of screwed up on it. Getting old.
So far/ so good. it is simple and drives well FWD only.

This is true. I have an 08 LE and my dad says my car eats up the oil very quickly.

Like Chevy, they used to be good.

Hey Scotty, I've read, if you need just, one tire replaced on AWD's, you can have the new tire shaved down to match the tread on the other tires so, it won't damage the AWD system rather than, buying four new tires. Will that work?

LE is limited edition not luxury edition

Another Big recall for Toy-ota , you can't help people you just have to step aside and let them walk into never , never land. I told you about toyota .I have owned three trucks and one car built by them and never again. oh by the way their service sucks too. j-

I like scumbags and crapbags, but assclowns is even better. Hippo-critter liars works well when they say one thing and do another, about 5 times a day for a big corporation only about getting the cash from you to them, maybe if you are lucky with a superior design.
