The garage manager at a Pep Boys Auto Parts Store where I was having my cars oil changed a long time ago tried to detain me until I bought a new set of tires, saying that mine were unsafe and posed a danger to the safety of the general public, and that I couldn't have the keys to my car back until I bought them. He gave them back immediately when I called the police.
The chevy dealer here in logan utah told me I had a bad transmission I took I home and got a rebuilt valve body and now the transmission shift butter smooth. Like new its a 1998 saturn sl1 SOHC with 286k+ miles I only paid $300 for the car saturn are reliable trust me !!!
They would have left it there sitting for the day called them up and charged them$2600.00 and pocketed the $$$$ having done literally nothing at all. 99% of mechanics are evil as the day is long and will lie to you with a smile on there face.
