Our recent video lambasting car engine head gaskets got a few of you electric car haters to remind me that EVs aren’t exactly maintenance-free. Fair enough, so I’ll list our checklist.

i think EV cars also have transmission fluid too.

A Tesla salesman told me that the Model 3 had no fluids and required no maintenance. LOL!

Plugging into the charger every night and unplugging every morning is the same time consuming as going to a gas station every week.

    – cleaning all the cameras or autopilot will kill you or others.

You can run the AC or heat without running the engine, so taking a nap in an ev will be comfortable

Sooooo many ignorant morons in the comments. U have never owned or maintained an EV yet u insist on spouting garbage. I have owned one Leaf for 6 years and another Leaf I bought used for 4 years. The oldest has 82000 miles and is only 40% through its brake pads. Brake fluid is just fine and coolant color is unchanged. Nissan recommends these items b changed but it is only for the benefit of their service departments. Once I get rid of the last ICE vehicle I have, a 2015 Chrysler Town & Country, never going to buy another ICE car again. My brother crapped all over my EV ownership but recently bought a used Volt. Now he tries to use the gas engine as little as possible and is trying to construct an auxiliary battery to increase the range. If u try an EV, u will never go back to an ICE car.

PS. just sold the older Leaf and bought a Model 3.

The biggest problem with electric cars is not the cars themselves, but politics. There are big oil lobbies that want Americans to keep using gas and oil in cars

At least you can't be half asleep on your way to work and put the wrong electricity in your EV.
