    You all have to remember that they also reprogram these alternators to charge at the lowest possible rate to increase fuel mileage that's one of their cheating methods. Not fully charging the battery at least twice a week kills the batteries kind of like some of the people say you have to trickle charge regularly because things are crap

    Okay but you’re kind of supporting this marketing scheme, how about we tell people to use the smallest cranking battery with Duracells 3 year warranty, they don’t even last 2 if you use this method. One time battery purchase for a weight reduction 🤷🏻‍♂️

    I know our new car we had to replace the battery at 3 years old. But our 98 boat with a gm 350 the battery is a 2008!

    I agree, batteries definitely do not last long as they did. Especially in hot climates!

    Unfortunately, that is one of the things automakers do to reduce the cost of building a car. My 2018 Corolla which was manufactured in Oct 2017 still has the original battery.

    My w204 merg have battery that's size of batteries that my grandpa used to place in his Zetor tractors.
