I've had Subaru Forresters. You get what you pay for,,,average quality, looks like a toaster on wheels. Joined the Toyota family
Anybody know when Subaru got the head gasket problem fixed?
I'll stick to old a old car 2005 nissan pulsar cheap parts easy fix and aircond works . That Subaru thing would go for 40k plus in Australia. Lol
When I was a young diy I used to think keeping my car for ever or at least 30,40 years .now that thinking are fade, as it get old everything is weaker, 2airbag while everyone else has 7 airbags , no backup cam no blutub, no auto brakes when near collision. Like an old man running marathon with young man under Florida sun.
Like a poor man at traffic lights
I had a 2014 Impreza 2.0 hatch that I recently traded in for a 2023 Toyota 4Runner. The Subaru has 210k km (approximately 135k miles) when I got rid of it. I bought it from Subaru dealership and paid $2000 CAD for an extended warranty up to 160K km. Dealership maintained. Did all the service packages according to their schedule… CEL comes on at 170k km. Was diagnosed as a catalytic converter issue. Changed that out but CEL came back on after 100km. They couldn’t figure it out. Was told to keep driving. At 190k km, the head gasket blew. Had the engine replaced. At 210k km, my dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree. Turns out the transmission gave out. This experience has turned me off from Subaru for a while… Recently discovered your channel Scotty and I’m sharing it with everyone I know! Keep up the great content!
Scotty, you never gonna sell your Celica! 🤣
Eww a cvt. That's the opposite of reliable
Subies a good value these days, a real no brainer for those living in snowy climates
