How are your hands doing my friend Pete?

It all comes down to is it fit for purpose. Cheap tools may be OK for low volume usage but not for industrial work. You get what you pay for.
Is that an Edsel in the background?

I ran black pipe for my air and gas line in my shop with no issues too. The rental place here wanted $200 a day and to have it done by someone else was $2k. I ended up buying a Ridgid 535 pipe machine used for $800 and it's one of the best things I've ever purchased. I've rented it out to people I know and have done a couple small jobs to pay for it many times over. It's the best pipe threading machine ever made and bulletproof.

My harbor freight threader cut the first set good. Second and third got progressively worse and the die broke on the forth set. Well oiled the whole time.

After threading pipe for a lot of years, use ridged cutting oil and continuous oil during threading or your cutting head and pipe threads are wrecked. You cannot use any other oil but threading oil
