Truth regular maintenance does preserves the life of the engine. I do mine at regular intervals and the original engine in my 2000 Buick Century custom has nearly 218, 000 miles on it and still runs smoothly and never burns oil. Do your maintenance folks it pays big dividends and saves big $.
I've got the same generation Corolla and just clocked 280,000. Only thing major I've replaced was the alternator and PCV which wasn't bad at all. Original owner and original motor.
The owner was junk NOT Toyota!!!
What I’ve learned over the years is that the cheaper the can is the more abused it is a large percentage of the time
This guy is annoying
I'm driving a 2006 Camry with 267,000 miles. I'm very confident it's gonna keep going because I have the maintenance like oil done regular.
Crazy how a car can have problems just because someone never changed the silly oil.
As soon as you said "used junkyard engine" I understood
2,800 for a used engine is kinda pricey
Agreed.
