Scott, should i fix up a 93 nissan maxima that hasnt run in 10 years or fix a 09 altima with a bad transmission. Both are gonna cost aprox 2500

Instead of rubbing things down with alcohol do what I do. I use it for damn near EVERYTHING metal, (outside of course) to clean the crap out. Spray Brake Parts Cleaner. Cheap, Effective and blasts the oily gunk out even from places you can't see. If it's made of metal it will do the job. Let it dry and you're good to go.

I will keep this in mind because although i love the dremel's versatility, replacement parts are too damn expensive at the stores. This is what i need!

Very nice tool I use mine all the time

When my dad was disabled and needed work done on his dentures our dentist came over and I loaned him my rotary tool to "adjust" the fit of the dentures… He loved it. Fact is my wife has been using my rotary tool for years to adjust her new dentures for a "perfect fit" without a dozen dentist visits to get it right. And once when she over-cut a denture, the dentist just applied some plastic back… no harm no foul….

I love the cut off wheels for cutting metal and plastic… I slice out rusted exhaust bolts and even exhaust pipes, remove rusted sheet metal and made several aquarium hoods out of light panels… A friend had an aluminum mast snap on his sail boat. He had a motor but the mast was dragging in the water… so he just sliced it off with his rotary tool and motored the boat back into port. It's amazing how many big jobs I've done with these little tools.

Lastly… these tools are really hard to buy because just about everything they can do can be done with some other tool in your box… ie hacksaws cut just fine and a file or sandpaper will smooth metal and a metal brush will clean surfaces and so on… I finally got mine because I had a bunch of store credit built up through promotions and didn't need another tool.. And from the first day I got my rotary tool I started using it for everything. I've never looked back, it just makes life so much easier. It's hard to justify buying a rotary tool for almost any job at hand because they aren't cheap. But over the years I've owned mine…. it's paid for itself many times over.

Oh they'll definitely fix your car… In the right hands. In the wrong hands, they're also a great way to put holes, abrasions, Etc in everything 🙂 don't ask me how I know
