2019 Sonata 2.4 When sitting overnight, spark knock and detonation for the 1st mile-2 miles, unless I keep it 1,500 rpm or less. Put in 6 gallons of 93, no cold spark knock or detonation. Why is this? (92,000 miles)
I'll stick with using premium on my rsx type s.
Thank you for making vid!! My neighbor had this problem with insurance dongle!!
My Grandpa (RIP) would love this dude!
I love this video at large❤❤,. you remind me of what someone once said.. " Making money is an Action, keeping money is behavior, Growing money is Knowledge" . I once attended seminar and ever since then i been waxing strong financially, and i most tell you the truth….
Here in the UK, we have 2 types of petrol; E5 and E10. The E10 has a high ethylene content, therefore it contains more water. Yes; water! I've seen many car engines and fuel systems suffer corrosive damage as a result. E5 is around 98 octane, it burns cleaner, gives better consumption, more power and more efficient top-end lubrication. I use E5 in my 2006 Lexus GS300 all the time.
The insurance company "black-box" item was news to me, we have them here but I've always understood them to be "wired in" to prevent tampering. I've never used one, but if it had to be plugged in to the OBD2 socket; it stands to reason that it could damage the car; so thanks for that piece of information.
Thanks Scotty … I was wondering about DOT 3 and DOT 4 brake fluid when I was flushing my old van the other day …. I used DOT 3 and now I'm glad you confirmed it.
My car's manual says the ethanol content of the gas should not exceed 10%. I'm always worried that the cheap gas has 15% ethanol, and it is not labeled at the pump as such. So I buy the non-oxygenated gas to reduce corrosion and increase gas milage every once in a while. Now I'm worried I've been damaging my engine. (2012 Toyota Avalon Ltd.)🤥
Thanks Mate.
