The way they handle DUIs is the same way they should handle people with there phones
Scotty you are a victim of circumstances. South Texas suffers from too many illegal aliens that believe they don't have to obey our laws. If they do kill somebody it will probably be a hit and run . Law in forcement has been told to not do anything even if they catch them. They will either move away or cross back over the border.
Running red lights is normal in Florida. The Cops just sit and watch.
I always look each direction twice before the clutch comes out. I know i saved this older ladys life where the truck ran through and i layed on the horn and she stopped in the nick of time and just had a stunned reaction on her face gave her the hang loose and kept on my way. Those are rewards friends.
I got hit by a car as a pedestrian
Oh I look both ways when I'm at a stop and the light turns green I can't tell you how many times a cowboy trucker blows through the light at the top of the hill where I live
I drove right next to someone on the highway going 70 mph and they were staring at their phone. So I stared at them until they looked and me and then flipped them the bird and told them to stop looking at their phone. They proceeded to ignore me and continue texting so I laid on my horn until he took an exit
It’s crazy out there now. No one gives a crap.
It seems to me that autonomous drive cars are a bad idea. I don't trust the technology(ditto many humans). The same thing with auto-braking and lane corrections. Sometimes auto braking and/or lane corrections could be trouble.
I can agree with self parallel parking. 85.32% of people are incapable. Many of these systems are because folks do not know how to drive. They are not taught the whys and how-comes.
They can start the car(?), put in gear, this pedal is go, that one is… and the horn is here, plug the phone in this spot.
Another thing is people really need to give semi truck war room
