In regards to FRAM … I change my oil with Supertech Full synthetic oil and the FRAM synthetic filter. Change it anywhere from 3-6k miles. Never a leak, takes 20 minutes and 20 bucks. 13 MM wrench and a 2 dollar catch pan.
Bring back Saturn
Super tech and Quaker state filters are good for $3 your oil don't get filtered till it is warm so if a cheap filter won't catch it nothing will. Oil is still clean at 5,000 to 10,000 miles with synthetic. So don't waste your money on a $15 filter. Change mineral base oil at 5,000 miles or synthetic at 15,000
I buy Costco gas for my Land Rover and girlfriends Toyota Sienna. I always get the high test and it's been great.. No problems at all.
