Can it change a flat tire?
they should make a scan tool that not only tells you what the problem is, but how to fix it. It should go into such detail that a hologram of your car would appear on the screen, and a detailed close up, perhaps using a red x on the hologram to show where the bad part is located. Many times, it's a sensor and a simple replacement by a human with an IQ of over 50 can replace it. other times, it's in the internals of the engine, and that really sucks. set fire to the house, its easier to deal with. LOL
You make a lot of great videos. So, i have a request. Can you show what scanner will bleed the ABS, retrieve & clear SRS & ABS & engine codes on a 1996 NAS discovery, 4.0L automatic? I can retrieve & clear codes for the engine, and i can view and graph generic OBD2 data. But nothing with the ABS or SRS.
CVT transmission are a glorified snowmobile version and are junk !!!
Why you gotta do us Yinzers like that?
The best scan tool to buy is the one that fits your budget, and that you will actually use!
Every DIY auto mechanic needs a scan tool. I started with a $20 Bluetooth cheapie.
Autel make a good unit..if you can find an older model that has not been updated those will do things only factory models do…..
will smaller hand held scanners read the cars total milage? (to verafiy the odometer is correct)?
A few years ago the speed limit was 55
