Scotty, I have a 1980 Chevy el Camino. It’s got 120k miles (or 220k who knows, it’s just got a rolling odometer showing 19,620 or something like that) and I just installed a new speedometer cable because the old was was all melted and mangled. The speedometer now moves, but it’s way off. It shows 15MPH when my phone says I’m going 21, and 25MPH when my phone says 37. The phone is accurate, I’ve tested it in other cars with functional speedometers and it’s always been within 1-2 MPH of the cars reading. How do I fix this?
