Glad my Mustang has a mechanical brake!!
The 87 Ram was really good!!
The electronic brakes are worse that what you presented. Mine activated twice, by itself, while I was driving. Both times I was only going about 25 mph. The dealer couldn't find the problem. It's been a couple of years since it happened, but I think about it sometimes while rounding a curve at higher speeds.
I have a Hyundai Tucson. I feel this….
scotty's telling you what happens in a ford electric car or truck kids cause that's what happens when they run down to zero my bmw i3s does not it just looses the power for the drive motor the steering keeps working in unassisted power drive mode thanks to the 12 volt battery continuing after the high voltage battery dies I know I have tested this and that's what happened
Here is why electric parking brake. The engine shuts off when you stop with these new cars. What happens if you stop on a hiil and the engine shuts off? You are stepping on the bake, right? Nothing. Now you take your foot off the brake to go. The engine restarts and in that instance, you roll, front or back. What happens if the engine fails to start? On a hill the computer engages the electric parking brake to solve the problem.
Just too complicated for something I did not want in the first place.
the fancy digital computerized timers obligatory in electric radiators get burnt out….. by the radiator…. because it’s hot…. please inform the regulators …
Hi Scotty, I like your motto, LIVE FREE OR DIE trying!
These electronic e-brakes are the dumbest things. I refuse to buy a car these. Happy with my cars I have right now.
I love when you talk about GM or Chrysler… I know I’m gonna start choking with laughter.. I’ll just make sure I’m not eating anything I drove a Vega back in the day 🤢
