The silicon battery tech … it's still lithium-ion. That part isn't changing. It's all lithium at the moment, be it paired with iron, nickle or silicon.

The materials to make these battery's are dug out of the ground in third world country's by children. When they reach end of life they pollute more than the carbon they try to replace. Doent sound good environmental or socially.
