Scotty keeps repeating the absolutely FALSE idea that Tesla resale value is terrible… in the real world, it’s among the BEST.
Insuring a Tesla varies widely by state and insurer, but a Model 3 costs about 40% more on average than an ICE vehicle, about an extra $80 a month. That matters!
But a typical driver driving 1200 miles per month saves approximately $110 a month in fuel costs and will have fewer repairs over the life of the car because of, you know, having fewer moving parts.
Those aren’t the only metrics that matter when comparing cost, but Scotty, dishonestly imo, takes the highest priced outlier in insurance and presents that as the norm. Come on Scotty, get over your unnecessary bias against EVs!
Scotty, you need to get on the telegraph machine and send Elon a message to stop building all these gigafactories immediately! U need to tell him he doesn't know what he's doing and he's making a huge mistake, no one is going to buy them.🤣😅
The insurance rates will come down, just like with anything else new. In the meantime EV's, mostly Teslas, are all over the road; where I live, you can't pull up to an intersection without seeing at least two or three….
Unfortunately, GM, Ford and Dodge have had their chance to improve emission controls and gas usage but their low quality of engineering design puts them all on a limited future path. Go ahead put your money on those stocks and I'll keep buying Tesla stocks….you can see who's winning, right?

I saw an antique electric car in Thomas Edison's garage. It looked similar to a small horseless carriage.
The technology is improving quickly. I'll see what it looks like in 5 years.
