Just personal experience: my 2022 Audi Etron gt half year insurance in New Jersey’s is 1.2k. I also have a 17 Nissan Altima and I pay 800 for half year. Not doubting some ppl are paying crazy rates for EV insurance but at least for me it’s reasonable.
what makes more sense than Tesla EVs is the technology of Prometheus Fuels which has perfected an efficient tech to synthesize carbon neutral fuels from atmospheric CO2. They can design it to synthesize aviation kerosene, gasoline, or diesel so is compatible with existing fueling infrastructure and motive tech. And it very simply and cheaply solves the intermittency problem of solar arrays and wind turbine farms – just fill up on-premise holding tanks and send a tanker truck around to bring it directly to market when tanks top off. So a Ford hybrid Maverick has an easy to digest purchase price, insurance cost, and very decent gas mileage – coupled with carbon neutral synthetic fuels it makes for a much brighter transportation future than the folly of EVs (and didn't even get to the part where EVs are going to wreck the environment because of all the exotic raw materials required to make them)
Didn't Old Dodge Engines used to be really bad about vapor looking back in the day when they had carburetors? Especially the Slant 6 engines?
That’s why tesla will have a new business in insurance. This man goes on about electric cars going on fire like ice vehicles don’t🤦♂️
I think something like a 1988 Pontiac Lemans used to be bad about melting the fuse box.
rule of thum is never put tools on parts of the car place them in a can bucket or tool box while working on the car…
I think it was My 1987 Hyundai Excel. It was hard to get the oil filter wrench on it, so when I changed the oil in it, I would just hang the wrench on the filter and tie the handle up under the car so that it didn't get in the way and then it was easier to change the oil filter the next time.
Hey Scottty I got 2000 ford f150 when it's hot out it start running rough an doesn't happen when it's cold also when I'm driving I have to put it in neutral shut it off an then turn it back on an switch back to drive it's a pain. Can you help me please
I would never buy an electric car no matter how loud the propaganda media shouts about the sky falling! Never!
EV's are the future not because they're better but because they're easier to manufacture. We're going to be printing out disposable electric cars.
To me, it's a lot like all the battery powered snowblowers, lawn mowers and chainsaws that are now on the market. It's convenient and the performance is okay but the machines themselves are semi-disposable cheap garbage. The technology isn't great but it's good enough for manufacturers to start pushing it onto the market while saving a ton of money on the cost to make the product.
