It’s possible that Scotty was over-exposed to Ethel/leaded gas, but EVs are funky and My Toyotas might outlive me😂

I prefer the hand gestures over the new graphics

I like the old saying, 'A halo is only a foot away from being a noose'. I'm in no hurry to jump on the EV bandwagon. Not at all suitable for most peoples' lifestyles.

The cost, and lifetime maintenance of an electric vehicle is still prohibitive. Only the very well off can afford this means of transport, the "everyday man" cannot afford such vehicles. In the long run, insurance costs, vehicle maintenance, amorticised purchase price makes the electric vehicle impossible to afford. The lack of sufficient charging stations, the rather low density batteries in the vehicles make it unaffordable to own and use.

NY state wants to force only new EV cars sales by 2035. No way am I going to do that. I'll but a used hunk of crap that is rusting apart first.

Ev hidden cost and problem will be solved by genius from EV supporters

If all existing electrical infrastructure were turned over to EVs, barely a 10% fleet conversion would be possible.

So if you ev bursts into flames and burn's your house down is that covered by your car insurance or home owners.

Electricity per Km * electricity cost (rooftop solar) = cost per Km. In my case 0.150 KWHr/Km * 8c/KWHr = 1.2 c/Km ( 1.9c per mile ) vs 23c/Km for petrol in my ICE 4WD. No sane person is going back to ICE. And much less maintenance.
