Bottom line is that EVs are too expensive and the nationwide electric grid cannot support millions of EVs, period.
I love your show, but why do you hate on Tesla so much. They've gone from nothing to pretty darned impressive quickly. No complex machine is without its problems, but the Tesla's are pretty darned great from what I see and read.

Schotty I never figured you leaning toward an electric car.
BEVs are a scam and the automakers know it… they're aimed at the scientifically illiterate consumer. They're not so 'green' at all when manufacturing of raw materials and end of life are taken into consideration. There will be a lot of BEV clunkers in scrap yards when consumers realize it will cost them $35,000 – $40,000 to replace the battery packs in 10 years time.
I wonder if any of these will be even remotely affordable?
