I worked in a factory that used battery powered clamp trucks to move groups of boxes around. Supposed to charge 8 hours, rest (cool) 8 hours, then use for 8 hour shift. They had extra batteries that could be charging while the others were in use, to change out, took about 15-20 min.
They worked good when used correctly, but when started quick charge, not allowed to rest, had much shorter use cycle.

The Rivian electric truck is a real product, made in the USA. It was featured in a video series called "The Long Way Up" that showed the Rivian electric truck and a pair of electric Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Started in Ushuaia in southern Argentina, driving northwards as far as Los Angeles, California.

It's a shame the world only has one of you. Could you imagine most mechanics being like Scotty?

I have a 2017 f150 xl 2.7 eco engine and so far it has been reliable at 95k
Should I replace it with a 2019 f150 v8 because longer term turbo engine reliability is more uncertain?
I would have to shell out another $14k to do the trade
Is carbon build up really going to be an issue and when do I do the “decarbonization”?
