QUESTION…I have 2018 rav 4 xlt smart key. Has no security system. But scan says in ecu it's off. Would turning on do anything cause dealer says it doesn't have alarm.
It's a Chinese product, therefore they use to lowest grade lithium ion batteries. Like C or D grade batteries. So most importantly, which I didn't hear covered, when this thing no longer holds a charge, 2-3 years from now, how easy is it to replace it's battery?
Would the D8 sort of be overkill for an older Toyota? (04 Matrix XRS). BlueDriver has been working fine. Not a super duper hardcore mechanic….but getting better and braver when it comes to working on new things.

After using the Xtool d8 I get a vsc trac /vsc off light on dash that will not go away. How do I get rid of it with Xtool the steps? I can’t seem to figure it out . I heard this light comes on sometimes with scan tool.
Does this tool monitor if the seat belts are fastened/unfastened under live data like the Autel does? I need this feature. Either with the D7 or 8. Thanks!
