You have Exhaust Sensors that control your Air and fuel .
These Sensors read Exhaust Temp Flow and CO2 The Computer Adjust Your Fuel and air Mixture Based on these Readings .
Change anything and one leg is missing so The Computer has a default number it falls back on to keep the car running but it's running wrong .

I have a 2000 Ford escort broke the t timing chain idler pulley bolt fixed that retimed it now it dies at stop signs. Is it slightly out of time or is there more of an issue starts perfect idles perfect till I put it in gear
